You should read the full hackathon rules after your kickoff. Below is a summary of the highlights:

Team Size: Fellows will break up into teams of 2-3 within their Pod. Your Pod Leader will help you do this during the kickoff.

Timeline: Each team has between the end of the kickoff and the start of demos to create their project submission. Demos will take place on Monday

Project Requirements:

Fellows must use the Pod's portfolio sites.

The project must be “Open Sourced” (i.e. made available on GitHub with an Open Source license) at the end of the hackathon.

Demos:

All of your Pod Leader's Pods will come together to demo their projects to each other, your Pod Leader, and any outside visitors your Pod Leader chooses to invite.

Each team will have 5-10 minutes to present and demo their project on Zoom..

You’ll need to share a GitHub repo and video demo of the project in addition to the live demo that you will do.

Projects will be judges by Pod Leaders
- The winners will be announced during the Graduation on August 16th

We’ll be awarding prizes for the top projects from each pod.
